The Sayings of Jesus

Jesus spoke in parables. Parables are packed with spiritual truths on many levels. A number of them talk about the Kingdom, giving us an insight on how to live in Jesus’s Kingdom. Every one of these parables Wayne has selected is essential to how you live out your Christian life.

Jesus Our Hope

The Gospels are packed with stories about Jesus and His miraculous works as He walked around Jerusalem and the surrounding territories. His messages were filled with the hope of His Kingdom but that is not what gives us hope in Jesus. It is his last days on earth were He suffered, died and rose from the dead giving us hope that we too can have life in His Kingdom. My story is about this hope we have in Jesus.

As you walk through the Gospels of Scripture, you will observe there is a lot of detail from the last week of Jesus’ ministry as he walked the earth. He took a long journey that eventually leads him to the city of Jerusalem, where he would be tried, found guilty but not guilty and then put to death by the Romans. My stories include some of Jesus’ more popular parables, great miracles and a story about a short fat man.

Peter In Acts

Peter is one of Jesus’ closest disciples who, at the end of the Gospel of John, was asked by Jesus to feed his sheep. In the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit transforms his life as he becomes one of the principal founders of the Church in Jerusalem. In the Gospels, Peter is a man filled with passion that gets him in trouble all the time, but in Acts, he is an influential figure in the new church.
